WHO WE ARE

KÖBER SRL is a successful company from Piatra Neamț, founded in 1991 and owned by the Kober family, with a market share of 20–21% in the national market for paints and lacquers. In a Romanian market dominated by foreign products, in 2002, the KÖBER group launched the first Motan heating boiler, a 100% Romanian product that complies with all internationally recognized quality standards.

Motan heating boilers are available in over 23 countries worldwide, representing one of the proudly Romanian products. The production (from wall-mounted condensing boilers, integrated home heating systems, boilers, and accessories dedicated to home heating) is entirely carried out in the factory in Vaduri commune, Neamț County, where the laboratory for developing new thermal heating solutions is also located.

HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

As the data controller, the company processes personal data of individuals such as employees, clients (both individuals and legal entities), contractual partners, collaborators, candidates applying for available positions, and other individuals who interact with the company or are involved in contractual relations with it.

WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE?

In the context of recruitment on the company's website www.motan.ro ("Career" section – click the "More details" button for available job postings and complete the corresponding form), we process the following types of personal data: first and last name, phone number, email address, and other personal data provided in the CV or cover letter submitted, and additional data about the potential candidate in the "Message" section.

For more information about the products offered on the company's website – www.motan.ro ("Contact") – you can directly contact KÖBER S.R.L. representatives by phone, mobile phone, fax, or email using the contact details provided on the website.

You can also use the interactive map to contact national/international distributors of Motan products ("How to buy?" – "Sort by county" – "National distributors" – "International distributors") or companies within the national/international service network for such products ("Service and commissioning" – "Sort by county" – "Service network" – "International service network"), in which case we process the following personal data: country/county/city selected, company name, phone number, email, address.

For the conclusion and execution of service and partnership contracts, we process primarily the following types of personal data: first and last name, identity card/passport series and number, residential address, bank account number, email address, phone number.

In organizing the Köber Caravan, we process the following data on social media platforms: images captured through photos and video materials and voice recordings. Additionally, for gathering feedback from attendees at these events, we process the following data: first and last name, email address, county/area.

To post on social media pages and the website photos (of employees/clients satisfied with Köber products/services), video materials, and testimonials sent by clients, we process the following personal data: image, first and last name.

For visitors of the website, we may collect data through cookies or other similar technologies, such as: IP address, internet browser, location, pages accessed on our website, time spent on the website, internet network, and device used. For more details on this, please refer to the Cookie Policy.

We will not use your personal data for marketing communications, such as newsletters, unless you explicitly consent to such communications by ticking the consent box for this purpose. In this case, we will only process your email address and ensure that you have a simple option to unsubscribe at any time, or to withdraw your consent for receiving such communications.

WHAT ARE THE LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Conclusion and execution of various contracts;

• To fulfill legal obligations incumbent on us;

• Based on explicit prior consent (for recruitment, marketing communications, etc.);

• In pursuit of legitimate interests of the company (e.g., implementing measures to protect and secure our employees, exercising rights and legitimate interests of the company in contentious or non-contentious procedures, etc.).

Personal data processed by the company is not transferred (directly or through contractual partners/collaborators) outside Romania or the European Economic Area.

The company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a high level of security and protection of personal data.

We use security methods and technologies, along with internal policies and procedures, including control and audit, to protect personal data collected in accordance with relevant data protection laws.
